Türk Telekom, with 175 years of history, is the first integrated telecommunications company in Turkey. In 2016 the company merged its services under one major brand Türk Telekom.
What We've Done
Kubix Digital offers mainly PPC management and consultancy services with focus on online branding and performance.
During the merging period of Türk Telekom, Google AdWords was one of the main website traffic channels. Offline marketing activities increased the volume of searches, which was covered mainly by the paid search results. With an online mix of paid search, display advertising, YouTube Trueview, YouTube Masthead and mobile specific ads, all major online marketing activities were covered. Our aim was to reach the audience in the whole customer journey process.
The challenge was that the offline marketing activities were based on showing different celebrities on TV, billboards etc. So during that time the search volume for these celebrity names increased and we had to respond to that searches with 24/7 online search ads. Connecting the dots between these celebrities and the Telecom product was challenging.
What We've Achieved
Combining advertising across digital and TV delivered big dividends. Brand & Celebrity name searches surged by almost 120%, while both website traffic and YouTube views rose dramatically.
We have achieved almost 3 million views for each celebrity video; almost 80% of these views came from YouTube Trueview ad formats.
